Great Green Lantern Fan Trailer

This little gem was made by JarenPitts. A fellow trailer maker.
I've got no new art to share yet so it would be a shame not to post great work being done on the net. Plus I'm a huge Green Lantern fan. This is best GL fan trailer I've seen.
Nathan Fillion plays Hal Jordan in this fan vision.

FATAL DEVIATION TRAILER

OK, I didn't add any effects to this expect sound edits and I made it widescreen.
I made this trailer mostly for my friends who have been obsessing about it lately and quoting the whole movie to me over the phone. I didn't put this on my wormyt youtube account because its simply an edit of an existing movie.

Fatal Deviation is a low-budget cult film produced and set in Trim, Co. Meath Ireland. Produced in 1998, it stars Kempo Karate expert Jimmy Bennett. If you haven't seen this movie and you live outside Ireland you can find it in 8 parts on youtube. If you're an Irishman like me it's your duty to rent/buy it. Either way, PLEASE watch the entire movie.

Trailer addicts will recognise some short audio I swiped from the Daredevil trailer.

The Expendables

Intrigued by the Stallones Dirty Dozen style movie, "The Expendables" and its large ensemble of action stars, I had a sudden urge make this poster. So many actors and egos. I probably left out a few.
I just spent a few hours on this. I'm very curious to see how they'll do the REAL poster.

Wizard Magazine

Photobucket
Its great to have your work mentioned in print. I couldn't resist posting this. Check out Wizard Magazine issue #210 for a great article on fan made trailers. There's some excerpts from an interview I did with a writer at Wizard Magazine.

My lifes been a bit mad lately but I've got about 2-3 trailers in the works.
The first one is a (very tongue in cheek) trailer for a low budget irish movie called Fatal Deviation. Its just a simple edit job, no effects. Check out the actual full movie on youtube. It's priceless!

The other two trailers I won't mention right now, but they are more along the lines of Thundercats in that they have visual effects. I don't expect to have them completed until at least the summer.
See you at Watchmen IMAX this weekend!

Avengers clip

I had to get this out of my system.
I usually stay away from making art for upcoming movies. They only entertain until the real trailers come out, so instead of finding audio and spending too much time making a youtube clip I just threw this together. Quick and dirty. Took about 2-3 days.
Gif's are low res but I love how easily they're copied and displayed onto browsers.
Here's the list of movies I Assembled.
Traitor, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Ironman, Shaft, Van Helsing.

Thanks

Wow,

I really appreciate all the positive and hilarious feedback from everyone! Totally unexpected!

After Xmas day I shall get back to answering people. I've been running around doing crazy shopping for presents etc so I haven't really had a minute to update since I uploaded the trailer.

Thanks again!
Have a great Christmas day.

Thundercats: Sword of Omens

Finally finished. This took me about a year and a half on and off. More info coming...

The Dark Knight

Ridiculous anticipation for The Dark Knight led me to make a gif that people could paste from Forum to forum.
A nice gentlemen put it on youtube and added great music and right before it hit 1 million hits it was pulled by whomever WB, youtube.

Superman Reborn

I'm a big fan of Bryan Singers movies. I own X1 and X2 but I really wasn't feeling Superman Returns at all. I've been reading the books on and off most of my life and even as a child I remember wishing for a more high octane Superman movie featuring action on par with the cartoons. After Superman Returns I craved a villain or giant robot or just something or someone incredible for the guy to tackle, punch and shoot beams at. With that, this little trailer was born.
I made all the effects in Photoshop frame by frame. I edited each clip in Windows Movie Maker. I know, pretty limited software. I think its a great exercise having only one level to edit on. After this I was ready to step up my software.
