Dude, THAT..is an amazing piece of work. I've done a few parody trailers in my day, so I know just how long even the simple ones take, My brain melted from realizing just how much work you must have put into this. It all shows on the screen.
Thanks Guys! Its been crazy with Xmas and work and all that but I will put a detailed description of how I did it in a couple of days. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on a job very well done, I just blogged about it. I think you picked great actors for the characters. Might I suggest posting a few stills of each character?
And did you know this was featured on Attack of the Show today?
Congratulations, you fool of anyone saying that is real, his work is already running the world, I'm from Brazil and his praise for getting this video here.
That was awesome! Great job! Warner Bros. should hire you to make trailers for their pictures. If I didn't know this was fake, I would be waiting for the movie to come out.
First - you got amazing skills and creativity. Second - The Idea was btilliant, and it's just like any good action trailer we see on the movies Third - you bastard, you made me cry! I felt like in a chilhood's-dream-coming-true moment... Thundercats ALIVE! That would be too much! :D
Incredible doesn't even begin to describe this but it's all I got right now! We need everyone to forward this to Warner Bros. so they can see a live-action Thundercats IS possible!
Amazing!!! I was surprised how the car from Aliens actually fit right into the actual scene. Who as Cheetara? Just a heads up, you just became my next blog!

unbelievable.... ONly thing that sucks is you got me so hype for THIS movie that the CGI crap is gunna suck now... Why cant they hire you to help make THIS movie :(
This MUST be made! Perfect actor choices, perfect trailer, this totally NEEDS to get done. Let's start a petition and send it to WB. You get 100,000 people asking for this, exactly as it is in this trailer (well, except for Garfield...lol) and I bet they'd do it. Starting an online petition isn't that hard.
Bravo!!!! One of the best things I've seen in youtube!!! I was really excited when a friend of mine sent it to me telling me there was a Thundercats' movie, but instead of being desapointed I really enjoyed this thing better!!! Hope big studios take the idea later on, and hope you make the visual effects. Congratulations on the job. Frank Beltran
Hey man, just passing by to congratulate you for the awesome work.
I´m a huge thundercats fan and can´t wait for the movie any more. Your trailer gave us a little taste of what´s coming up. The studio should hire you to do the real thing. Keep up the good work.
Man.. this brought back memories, hanging out after school with my bothers running in circles.
I kid you not I spent Hours reading the comments and watching it over and over on every blog/forum it was linked to.

("Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Vin Diesel in fan-made Thundercats trailer"
While we normally shy away from the world of fan-created trailers and short films, this one was too good to ignore. YouTube user WormyT has created a full-on trailer for a live-action Thundercats movie (based on the popular 1980s cartoon series) by compiling scenes from various films featuring, among others, Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Vin Diesel. Brad Pitt is seen playing Lion-O, Hugh Jackman is playing Tygra and Vin Diesel is Panthera.
Now that sounds interesting! After applying what can only be significant amounts of Adobe editing magic, the results speak for themselves. He caught the Troy, X-Men and Chronicles of Riddick clips, but with a little Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Blade Runner and Spy Kids in it too.
While Thundercats didn't originate in the comics scene (though it did spawn a Marvel Comics series in the '80s and a DC/Wildstorm series in 2003), the YouTube user should be praised for bringing the characters from the illustrated world to life. If you have ever watched the cartoon series with Lion-O as the lead and Chitara as his sidekick, you can't help admire to watch real life actors playing those characters. And this Thundercats trailer certainly accomplished that - in a big way.
Heck, it made us believe a live-action Thundercats movie might actually be a good idea! And if it's still not, filmmakers should take note… that might be a really good idea!)
first of all, epic job. seriously gave me chills how awesome that looked. so i think ive got the majority of the movies you took clips from (in no particular order): troy, both riddick movies, xmen3, garfield the movie (lol), stargate the movie, new planet of the apes, spy kids, power rangers movie, farscape, underworld, the mummy, last crusade, LOTR, galaxy quest, ghost of mars, aliens, and i think thunderdome
to all: feel free to let me know if i guessed wrong on any and what else i missed. i know theres a few, like that thing at 47s in, wtf is that? and theres some other monkey guy other than general thade, who is that?
Sob... i am at a university. and they are blocking all the utube and flash movies. is there anyway I can get a hold of this trailer? tq - alfian Malaysia
Dude, this trailer blew me away. A few years ago on one of those online movie games, I created a script and posters for a Thundercats movie and it went on to bring in $280-million at the "box office". I was so pumped when I did that. Over the last four years, I've been pegging away at an actual script for a Thundercats movie and seeing your trailer, this has given me even more incentive to do so. I hope Hollywood comes to their senses one day and makes a film on the 'Cats... hopefully when I break into the biz. ;) Awesome job!
when i first saw this clip i thought it was a Hollywood studio made trailer and wished the movie would come out soon. i was shocked when i found out it was fan made. dude, your work was awesome! good luck.
It's just awesome!!!! I'm your fan from peru and I think the Colca Canyon will be the pefect setting to make the next Thundercats movie, of course, if hollywood wanna make one
Awesome work there! I'm amazed at the level of detail you put into the trailer. No matter how the actual movie turns out, your trailer has made this fanboy quite content.
really great job ... it actually makes it looks like a live-action Thundercats movie would be fantastic. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that went into creating this. 5 stars!!
LOL That was hilarious :D Good work man. I like Garfield as Snarf and the Spy Kids as WylieKat and WylieKit. The footage from Stargate fit in well ans Mum-Ra's palace! AWESOME!
You know "Jeff" from the TV series "Coupling" ? The UK version ? Then you well know his phrase "Brrrrillliannnt!"
That's the only humane sound I could ever voiced after watching this masterpice...
Dudes, there must be some moviemakers reading this page. Hey you ! Heed our call ! Almost an entire generation in their early 30's love Thundercats ! We'll be pleased to pay for the movie !
wow... I feel like shit. First, I saw it on YouTube, and actually believed it.
(I actually sent the link to a friend by e-mail)
Now I realize it's a phenomenal work of digital art. I can't help from frowning for it not being the real deal...
Whatever they might possibly come up with, it won't be as good as your trailer. Not only you totally scored 120% on your "casting" (btw, who were the actors for Cheetara and Lion's father? I can't tell...), but you really made it believable. Even Garfield posing as Snarf was way cool!!
I wish you could post a detailed description on the creation process, as well as a HD version for downloading.
Absolutely Brilliant!!!!! I just wish this movie was real. Hope the big wigs in Hollywood watch this trailer and come to their senses to make a movie and hire you to help make the it happen!!!!
I'd love to write up a small feature on the work you put in to this trailer. Nothing to complicated for you beyond a few questions. I was really impressed with the work you put into this trailer and (if you read through the site a bit you'll see...) that doesn't happen often.
The feature would be posted at http://www.bitterbalcony.com
