BP Oil Spill Movie Trailer

Timing is everything.
In This "FAIL" example, I had 86 days from the moment the BP disaster happened to finish this, but I was having problems with my Imac24 spitting out every DVD I put in it. So I kept putting it off and off and suddenly BP 'butt plugged' the Arse they made in the Earth. Damn it! This trailer is WAY more important than the environment.
The Gulf Spill is not really Big news anymore. But finally I finished this quick Political/sci-fi/Disaster movie trailer anyway.
The Video Quality is crap due to all the resized clips.

Great Green Lantern Fan Trailer

This little gem was made by JarenPitts. A fellow trailer maker.
I've got no new art to share yet so it would be a shame not to post great work being done on the net. Plus I'm a huge Green Lantern fan. This is best GL fan trailer I've seen.

FATAL DEVIATION TRAILER

OK, I didn't add any effects to this expect sound edits and I made it widescreen.
I made this trailer mostly for my friends who have been obsessing about it lately and quoting the whole movie to me over the phone. I didn't put this on my wormyt youtube account because its simply an edit of an existing movie.

Fatal Deviation is a low-budget cult film produced and set in Trim, Co. Meath Ireland. Produced in 1998, it stars Kempo Karate expert Jimmy Bennett. If you haven't seen this movie and you live outside Ireland you can find it in 8 parts on youtube. If you're an Irishman like me it's your duty to rent/buy it. Either way, PLEASE watch the entire movie.

Trailer addicts will recognise some short audio I swiped from the Daredevil trailer.

Wizard Magazine

Its great to have your work mentioned in print. I couldn't resist posting this. Check out Wizard Magazine issue #210 for a great article on fan made trailers. There's some excerpts from an interview I did with a writer at Wizard Magazine.

My lifes been a bit mad lately but I've got about 2-3 trailers in the works.
The first one is a (very tongue in cheek) trailer for a low budget irish movie called Fatal Deviation. Its just a simple edit job, no effects. Check out the actual full movie on youtube. It's priceless!

The other two trailers I won't mention right now, but they are more along the lines of Thundercats in that they have visual effects. I don't expect to have them completed until at least the summer.

Manips in motion

You gotta love gifs. I started fooling around with a few frames of movie footage for fun when I made my Superherohype.com avatar for my profile. This was in like 2004 I believe. A year or 2 away from Spiderman3. One night I fooled around with footage from Underworld, Spawn and Spiderman1 and 2. What followed was this rather sloppy gif below. It garnered enough attention though to inspire to make a few fake Spiderman3 trailers. I'm not really proud of any of them.

Note: remember this was made a year or 2 before ANY spidey3 footage was seen.

Here are a few manips I made for fun before venturing into motion maniping.

This Final Crisis one took a while because of wonderwoman. I grabbed season 1 on Netflix just to
find that pose of her folding her arms. Don't ask why.


Kingdom Come graphic novel blew me away back in the summer of 96. I remember reading the last issue in a coffee shop on 3rd Market San Francisco. My eyes were bulging out of they're sockets as I scanned and read each epic page. Pure epic. Inspired, I made this manip with my fantasy cast for a Kingdom Come movie.

Nearly done

My never ending trailer for Thundercats is 99% done! Any day now. I have to stop myself from adding more and more.
It's been almost a year damn it!
I WILL get this uploaded before the Holiday.
